Writer's Block: Legends of Rock
There are a few concerts that go down in musical history—Altamont, Woodstock, Live Aid, the Hannah Montana Best of Both Worlds tour—as legendary experiences. What live show stands as legend in your own experience?

Peter Gabriel, Secret World Live
Bruce Hornesby at Wolf Trap, multiple shows

The single best Hornesby show was when he started to play "Lost Soul", Shawn Colvin walked out of the wings, sang the duet, and walked off. She sang it on the album and lives in Vienna, so she showed up for one song. Indescribable.

I wish I could've seen Peter Gabriel.

I did a doubletake at seeing them putting Woodstock and Hannah Montana in the same category.

Gabirel is an incredible showman who needs something the size of that tour (here it was at the Capital Center) to hold it all. I also saw him play a one hour set at Merriwhether Post as part of World of Music and Dance (WOMAD), but he couldn't do nearly as much in those circumstances.

Hell, I was offended by that.

I love the Peter Gabriel Secret World DVD. It was filmed in Italy.
I have watched it a million times while getting wasted with my brother.

I have the two CD set (now burned to my mp3 player) that really takes me back. I believe it was also recorded at shows in Italy.
