Fair use, dammit
I wish to make a copy of a DVD so I can put it on my Zen player. The software that came with my device and my PC won't rip a "copy-protected" DVD.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a program to do this?

DVD43. I have that installed and have used it successfully to copy my DVDs for portable use.

You need a program called "DeCSS Plus". It will unencrypt your DVD to your hard drive. Then any number of utilities are out there that will convert the file into different formats (including MPEG).

If you need a copy of decss plus I have an older one- like real old.

All free tools, btw.
