F*ck all these asshats
DC's Deputy Mayor explains that it's better just to become a victim.

OK, first thing we do is take away his security detail, driver, etc., then we take any weapons he has access to by virtue of his position, then we let him walk around in South East for a few hours a night. It shouldn't take long.

Oh, yeah. We send the chief out, too.

“We always say, if you are a victim of a robbery, your best thing to do is comply and try to be safe,” the chief said.

How impressive that she can sit in her office and tell the difference between a robbery and an assault as it happens (to someone else).

I hate all these motherfuckers.

I'm with you.

This is nothing more than preserving a monopoly. In this case, on use of force.

The more you disarm the citizenry, the more you empower the constabulary.

I bet the garbage men wouldn't want us to own trashcans either.

Yet another reason to be ashamed of the Chief of Police.

What?!

~Mr. Quander thinks victimhood is preferable to self-defense. “The problem is, if you are armed, it escalates the situation,” Mr. Quander told residents. “It is much better, in my opinion, to be scared, to be frightened, and even if you have to be, to be injured, but to walk away and survive. You’ll heal, and you can replace whatever was taken away.”~

Not.
