The finest day in my dogs' lives
This was my dogs' day yesterday.

  • sleep in a bit

  • breakfast

  • walk around Burke Lake, 4.5 miles

  • get one and a half fried eggs each as a snack

  • nap time

  • each gets a new cow shank bone filled with marrow and with meat still on it

  • hang out with humans

  • bed

EDIT: I forgot to list that they also got dinner in there as well.

If I could just work out how to be reincarnated as one of my own dogs I'd do it in a second.

I will have to make sure Mox doesn't see this, or else he's going to want fried eggs, too.

They'd never had fried eggs and it was clearly a puppygasmic event. Phoenix wolfed her's down in a few seconds, and actually tried to snag some out of Buddy's bowl before I pulled her away. I can't recall her ever trying to take some of Buddy's while he had his nose in the bowl like that before.

I have received the emails, and have been pondering. I can man up and go to waffle house on Friday. I am currently triple booked for Saturday, so I may just see you off to King's Dominion and do other stuff. Meat Faucet on Sunday is not a problem.
