First of all, Happy123rd Birthday to J.R.R Tolkien.
I have a couple friends from high school that I still see on a regular basis. We all read most of Tolkien's works back in our formative years. Today we are meeting in Fredericksburg to see the current Hobbit movie. We got together to see the first when it came out, I missed the second (in the sense that I didn't see it, since I was underwhelmed by the first) due to a scheduling conflict, and now we are seeing the final(?) one, on Tolkien's birthday. I hope that seeing a matinée will keep the level of freaks to a tolerable level, though I can't discount the possibility that one of those freaks may be in my party.
